Literature Text

Gazing upon gentle waters
Burying my eyes deep within your solitude
I could only hope it lasts
For it may only be a dream
A fade unoticiable
A future wrapped in scars

I took advantage of this paradise
I wore it down to a thread
I try to hold on but my tears weighed me down
Pulling me straight down to pushishment
Where I lay paralyzed in the scorching flames of reality

In the end
Was it ever meant to last?
In the end
Was it ever meant to begin?
I'll hold this poem as close to my heart as possible.

Always remember what could of been...
